whale-sharks, close encounter

I you want to do things right on your holidays, really follow carpe diem philosophy, then you need to get your but moving quite early.
So, got up at 7.30 had a banana with honey and cinammon pancake, gazing at the blue ocean and almost creamy sand, arranged my stay for another night (with Audrey -the manager-, she's great), bumped into  the American couple.
They told me that they were going to swim with whale-sharks so I decided to sign up for that as well.

The swim was amazing, there's a guy with a high seat that spots the sharks and we rush off to that place. It can get challenging when more than one boats is around, but if you manage to stay long enough it's a huge pleasure to swim alongside those peaceful creatures.
We spotted at least four of them so we had a very nice hectic morning.
We also spotted some gellyfish, just a bit annoying. It reminded me of the scene in Finding Nemo when Marlene and Dory race between a big lot of them.
On our way back some drizzle fell, but nothing big.
Had lunch with the American couple - Carmen and Griffin. Nice galinha com curry & arroz.
Now, writing for a while and deciding what's the best way to go up to northern Mozambique, after going to Vilankulo tomorrow.
Let's see what's next!
